Richard K. Field, BS, MBA

Richard K. Field specializes in leading the strategy and corporate development of rapidly expanding $10M – $100M companies. He brings 17 years of executive management experience gained from within the healthcare, life sciences, technology, and software industries. He has lived and worked in 10 different countries and is conversant in multiple languages.

Mr. Field has constantly delivered exceptional revenue growth and profitability, with his dynamic cross-cultural leadership, and fluent multi-national management skills. He provides strategic industry perspective, and an extensive network of trusted top-tier relationships. He offers excellent quantitative decision making, and seasoned operational acumen to the companies with which he works.

As a couple examples of his diverse accomplishments, within the communications, defense, and software industries, Mr. Field managed the corporate development of Computer Simulation Technology (CST) of America which became the second largest 3D electromagnetic simulation software company in the world. Before Mr. Field's departure from the firm, CST of America had been written up as a leading business success story for two years in a row, and was given front cover honors by the top 4 leading industry journals.

Within the healthcare industry, Mr. Field managed the corporate development of WorldCare, a telemedicine company that quickly took on global proportions. During his leadership, WorldCare became reputed by Time and Newsweek magazines as the foremost international telemedicine company.

Mr. Field holds board positions in technology, life science, software, and international service firms, is regularly invited to international speaking engagements, and stays current with international management issues.

He received his MBA in finance and international management from New York University's Stern School of Business, and his BS from Cornell University.


Titus Suck, BA, MBA, PHD

Titus Suck has more than 10 years of global experience working in the high-technology sector. Working for US, Israeli, and UK companies from various locations across Europe, he frequently introduced disruptive technologies (UV laser drilling for printed circuit boards; LED UV curing for optical disks, paints, adhesives, etc; IR-inspection for MEMs/semiconductors, automatic data collection software for the internet, etc.) into the European market place. In a variety of roles, he developed early phase business contacts, partnerships, a service infrastructure and staff, and developed a steady stream of business through direct sales, setting up distribution channels, and frame supply contracts with key businesses.Titus has held key positions in sales, key account management, marketing, product management and customer operations which included P&L responsibility. He holds an MBA in international management from the Garvin School of International Management – Thunderbird, as well as a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature from the University of Oregon.


Kari Heistad

Diversity has been the hallmark of Ms. Heistad’s work. As a culture coach, she has helped companies understand the impact of culture upon their workforce and how to use this understanding to improve their bottom line. Her work as a consultant has focused on providing assistance in the areas of organizational development and cross-cultural issues. She has lived and worked abroad in Scotland, Norway and Greece and these experiences have served to strengthen her commitment to promoting international issues and understanding. In 2002 she was awarded a Fulbright-Hays scholarship to study multi-cultural education in New Zealand. Some of her clients have included: The British American Business Council, BlueCross BlueShield, Citizens Energy, Japan Society of Boston, New England Medical Center, Tufts Medical School, United Nations Association, and Global View Communications.


Robert M. Brownson

Living and working in Asia for over 20 years has given Mr. Brownson a multitude of experiences in multi-cultural project management. He has successfully launched both direct and indirect business ventures from strategic design to completion of operational, multi-national companies including incorporation, property selection and fitting-out, hiring, training staff and management. He has also managed turn around assignments where Asian subsidiaries have required organizational restructuring, management mentoring, tactical and strategic development, and extensive individual and team training. Mr. Brownson has additionally worked for Xerox Corporation and Digital Equipment Corporation in senior international positions. In both companies he provided executive training in the business cultures of Asian Countries.


Ian Shearer, BS

Mr. Ian Shearer has had a long successful career in operational management, financial management, and business development within a number of industries. His last full time executive role was as CEO of a Print and Packaging Group, where he oversaw the development and management of many diverse sites. In this role Mr. Shearer had full responsibility for all operations, which included acquiring, and disposing of subsidiaries and setting up Greenfield Operations.

Mr. Shearer has more recently focused on corporate finance in the technology sector. His focus has included M&A and fundraising. The fundraising facet has been largely within the venture capital community and the corporate sector. One of Mr. Shearer’s larger deals included investment from Motorola in a client company.


Nese Yahya, BA, MBA

Based in Istanbul, Ms. Nese Yahya, holds a B.A degree in International Trade from Bosphorus University, in Turkey. She has also received the prestigious Unilever Scholarship, and an MBA in International Management at Leiden University in The Netherlands, from where she graduated as Cum Laude. For the past four years, she has been providing professional market entry advice to international companies interested to enter to the market in Turkey. She has been on missions to many European and Eastern European countries, as well as to emerging markets like China and Russia. Nese is fluent in English, Turkish, Russian, and Bulgarian, and speaks intermediate French. Her sound knowledge of international trade combined with local expertise is a unique combination that enables her to lead experts as well as to professionally advise international companies.


Marcelo Sicoli, MBA

Mr. Marcelo Sicoli is a consultant in the food, industrial, and pharmaceutical industries in Brazil, and holds an MBA in marketing and international relations. His company, in Brazil, specializes in helping foreigners to develop new business opportunities in Brazil, and helps Brazilians search for partners abroad.

Mr. Sicoli works in the elaboration of market studies, maintains direct contact with importers/exporters, and offers full implementation of business offices in the Brazilian territory.


Myriam Callegarin, BS

Myriam Callegarin is a Management Consultant and Coach currently based in Italy. She helps organizations from all over the world successfully establish and maintain their presence in the Italian, the Swiss and the German market, with a special focus on change management and intercultural integration.

She has almost 18 years experience in international sales, marketing and business process re-organization, including 12 years corporate experience within Mercedes-Benz, today Daimler AG, in Germany, Singapore and South Korea. Today she works with a dynamic team of senior consultants who help corporations from all over the world access European markets through partnerships, joint ventures, mergers & acquisitions.

She has a degree in Business Administration and is a member of the International Coach Federation. Because of her professional experience, passion for coaching and result-oriented approach more and more executives and entrepreneurs are requesting her support also for their own professional development.


Stephan Hausse, BS, MBA, HRM

Stephan Hasse has more than 20 years of operational and consultancy experience from a large number of industries in Asia, Europe and US.From 1980 until the mid 1990s Stephan was employed at Volvo Car Corporation and Renault Automobiles SA, based in Far East Asia, Japan, Sweden and France.Stephan had various operational management positions within Sales & Marketing, Strategic Business Planning, Network & distribution, commercial development and Management development. Since 1995 Stephan has been working as an independent advisor and operational consultant within strategic business development, coaching to management groups in change processes. Assignments have incorporated "turn around" operations within European technical industries, international growth programs for suppliers to automotive manufacturers, and participation in a successful IPO for a European based industrial group.Mr. Hasse holds an MBA from Gothenburg school of Economics in Sweden, one year Management Development program from IFL Swedish Institute of Management, Joint Venture & Acquisitions program and HRM program from IMD Lausanne.


Jason Olim, BS

Jason Olim is experienced in just about every aspect of leading and operating a growth company. As the founder and CEO of CDNOW and as a member of public and private company boards, he has raised venture, debt and public capital. CDNOW acquired and merged with other companies; and Mr. Olim took his company private through a sale to Bertelsmann, the third largest media company in the world. In his various roles, he hired management teams, developed strategic plans and acted as spokesman to the media. Olim has been a darling and a devil to the business community - he has seen successes and failures, including IPOs, private sales, liquidations and bankruptcies. He has earned Entrepreneur of the Year awards from various organizations, including the Small Business Association, Arthur Andersen and the Greater Philadelphia Venture Group. Olim is a frequent speaker at conferences and a guest lecturer at many business schools, including The Wharton School, Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and Vanderbilt’s Owen School of Management. Olim is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Harkins Audit Software, Inc., a software company that provides software auditing tools for software engineers.


Tim O'Callaghan, BS

With 20 years of sales and marketing management experience, within the publications industry, Mr. O'Callaghan is an authority on specific industry sales and advertising. His experience includes 10 years at Hearst Corporation and 5 years at Horizon House corporation. These two international publishing companies manage over 100 industry specific publications.


Frederick C. Van Bennekom, AB, MBA, Dr.BA

Dr. Van Bennekom helps organizations increase their effectiveness by applying customer feedback. Fred teaches survey research practices based on the principles in his book "Customer Surveying: A Guidebook for Service Manager." Based on this unique expertise, he has conducted many survey programs to measure market demand and to measure and improve product, marketing & service quality.

Fred's related expertise lies in advancing the strategic role of customer support organizations in the new product development process by applying their product and customer knowledge to lower both the cost to deliver support and the customers' total cost of ownership. He co-authored a major research report on "Problem Prevention Through Design for Supportability: Gaining Competitive Advantage from Customer Support," with Keith Goffin of Cranfield Management School in England.

Additionally, Fred teaches operations management and service management courses in the Executive MBA program at Northeastern University, Babson College, and in Harvard University's Certificate in Management program.


Jacques Cornelis

Jacques Cornelis has had many years of experience developing new customers for new products coming into France. His sales and marketing successes have been found in the automotive & transport, aerospace & defense, food & beverage, oil & gas, energy, high-tech, and chemicals sectors, as well as with software solutions and associated integration services in CAD/CAM, FEM, ERP and PLM domains.
